For the guitar player in your life, an E-gift card is the perfect gift for when you may not be 100% sure what to get them for a special occasion but you know exactly what it is that they love.
2 Strokes pickups transformed a 1500$ great guitar 🎸 to a 3000$+ exceptional guitar!
My brother in law is a Les Paul fan (he owns 4 models) and you should have seen his face when he heard the sound of my “less glamorous” Godin Summit HT after I installed Pegcity pickups. His ’59 reissue (7000$) does not beat my Summit anymore 😂. His guitar is for sale if interested…
By the way, I own a Les Paul Recording and I must say that this Summit HT is easier to play. Only weak feature is original pickups but since I switched to 2 Strokes, Godin now surpasses my Les Paul.
Looking at replacing Seymour Duncan pickups for 2 Strokes on my Godin LGXT.
Got the 2-stroke for the neck position of a HSS. The build quality is superb, and the hand engraving on the baseplate is a nice touch. Straight away the clarity of this pickup shone through under light and medium drive. I don't hear much "woolliness" in the bass, and the treble is well balanced and sweet. Responds very well to volume control - which is a must-have for me. I compared the 2-stroke to a Bareknuckles VHII in a similar guitar - if anything, the 2-stroke sounds a little more present and strident (almost identical output) with a slightly different midrange. The BKP is way more expensive...but the 2-stroke is its equal in almost every way. I would absolutely buy another!
I compared them with a Gibson double cut, a Fender Strat with Dimarzio pickups,
a Ibanez and a L/P copy I built with Stew mac over wound humbuckers. I have the Pegcity Pickups in a Wolfgang copy I just finished. I am a bass player, so I like a deeper darker tone. As a bass player I opted for a blend pot rather than a three way switch, I found that made it harder to compare. Overall I have to say I like them.
Kris and I decided on the Private Stock bridge pickup for a custom built guitar from luthier Steve J. Mash. Sort of a Melody Maker shape with a 25" scale, humbucker in bridge, tulipwood body, maple neck. The Private Stock bridge is a very versatile, dynamic pickup usable in a range of styles. Chose a black uncovered pickup, I'm most pleased with its versatility.
This is paired with a custom neck pickup, a unique design from Pegcity. To match the timbre, no hum, and power of the bridge, Kris built a stacked magnet single-coil sized design for this position. So, it's noiseless and pairs super well with bridge.
A great solution and a wide range of sounds available c/o a basic 1 volume, 1 tone, and a 3-way switch.

Classic 59’s
Just installed a set of Classic 59’s into an Epiphone Sheraton ii. What an upgrade! These pickups look and sound incredible! When chording there is remarkable note clarity across all the strings and single notes sing and cut through the mix. They are also very pick sensitive and clean up nicely when the volume is rolled back. I’ve always liked this guitar but now I love it, it just sounds huge! Thanks Kris! Great communication, easy to order, amazing build quality and fast shipping! I feel like I will be ordering a Peg City strat set in the future!

Amazing in the neck position
I recently added a Fatboy Special neck pickup to one of my main guitars, and was blown away by its clarity and silky smooth sound. On high gain its crystal clear and articulate, on clean it has a beautiful presence and projection. Highly suggested to anyone who values a well rounded, clean neck tone!

Don't think twice, buy em!
I've been playing guitar for 30yrs. Playing heavy metal for over 20yrs and I can honestly say I have never felt such a substantial difference in a pick up swap......until I installed a set of Widows. I replaced an EMG 81/85 set with Angry Widows and was instantly blown away by how organic, articulate and more defined my tone was. So then I swapped out a Seymour Duncan Full Shred and JB set for some Angry Widows and it was the same result, my tone took a step in the direction I wanted, but the EMGs and Duncan's just continually fell short no matter what combination. The support, sales and relationship I now have with Peg City is something you just can't get with big manufacturers. Don't think twice, you might miss out on your perfect tone

Love my new Classic 59’s
The Classic 59’s were an excellent set of pickups for my Les Paul kit build. They sound great! You get all of the tones and responsiveness you would expect from PAF. Highly recommend if you are looking to get that classic PAF sound without breaking the bank. I can't wait to start my next Pegcity pickup powered project!
